The Middle School Final Assembly
The Middle School Final Assembly

On Wednesday, June 6, the Middle School celebrated the end of the school year in the Lisa McGraw '44 Skating Rink with a jubilant final assembly. Head of School Paul Stellato opened the assembly with his remarks by wishing congratulations to the 8th grade class and recognizing departing MS faculty Brian Laskowski and Karen Stolper, as well as retiring MS faculty Hank Bristol '72, Susan Reichlin, Deb Sugarman, and Donna Zarzecki. Here are some photos from the ceremony.

Head of Middle School Renée Price opened her speech with a chant ("I say Middle, you say School!") that she uses to open each Focus Assembly, and relayed some great experiences from this year. She also shared some wonderful advice for both students and parents (lessons learned from her daughter's betta fish were especially memorable!).

The two student speakers, Dhruti Raghuraman '22 and Jacob Roitburg '22, provided wonderful advice and reflections from their time in the Middle School. The Chamber players played a beautiful rendition of Con Te Partiro and the 8th grade students sang "Under the Sea" from the spring musical, "The Little Mermaid." Happy summer, Middle Schoolers!
