Mary Travers '14 Named Collegiate All-American in Field Hockey

Congratulations to Princeton Day School alumna Mary Travers, class of 2014, who has been named a Collegiate All-American in field hockey. She plays at Tufts University.

Mary has won a number of awards within her conference, including winning the program's first NESCAC Championship since 2009 and advancing to the NCAA Championship game. Just some of her accolades, as outlined on the Tufts website, include that she was named to the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III All-America Second Team, the Longstreth/NFHCA Division III All-New England West Region First Team and the All-NESCAC Conference First Team. Mary also tallied the 11th-most, single-season assists in program history with a team-high eight and the 16th-most points in a single season in program history with the second most on the team at 26.

At Princeton Day School, Mary played on the field hockey, ice hockey, and lacrosse teams, and was named the 2013 Prep A State Offensive Player of the Year. Mary also won the coveted Golden P Award and remained an honors student for 12 semesters of her high school career.

The sister of PDS alums Nicholas '03, Peter '08 and Georgia '09, Mary is the daughter of trustee Robin Gosnell. Congratulations!
