One of the great Lower School traditions at Princeton Day School is the 4th grade operetta, and there is no way that a March snowstorm could stop this show from going on. This year's production is "The Mupperetta," and will be performed this evening, Tuesday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the McAneny Theater.
"The Mupperetta" is based on an original script by 4th grade teacher Daniel Cohen and directed by MS theater teacher Deb Sugarman, with music and choreography by LS music teacher Andrea Schafer, and it will feature our 4th graders starring as various incarnations of the famous Muppets characters, including Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Elmo, Abby Cadabby, and more. This production is a special way to feature the talents of all of our 4th graders.
Head of Lower School Alesia Klein noted of the 4th grade class: "You can feel their excitement and hear their joyful singing in every corner of our Lower School. I want to congratulate all of our 4th grade students for their teamwork, cooperation, courage, and effort as they have worked hard preparing for the show." Stay tuned for photos!
