PDS Recognizes Athletes Bound for Collegiate Play: Elle Anhut ’22 and Ali Surace ’22

Congratulations to Elle Anhut ’22 and Ali Surace ’22 who have both committed to continue their lacrosse careers at the Division One collegiate level next year, Elle at the University of California Berkeley and Ali at Columbia University.

Longtime PDS Girls Lacrosse Head Coach Jill Thomas, who has prepared scores of PDS athletes for collegiate-level play, states: “Elle is a talented midfielder who plays with finesse and grace. A leader on the field who communicates with her teammates at both ends of the field and makes everyone around her play better. Ali is a fierce midfield competitor. She has had a tremendous impact on our program because of her ability to read the game and her opponents. Ali will continue to raise her level of play at the collegiate level.”

Athletic Director Katie Fay states: “It is an incredible accomplishment for these student-athletes to continue playing at the highest collegiate level at two of the most prestigious universities in the world. They have earned this privilege through hard work and dedication to their athletics and academics.  Both of these young women have been multi-sport varsity athletes at Princeton Day School. Their contributions to our athletic program have been significant and will be missed next year. I am excited to watch them both lead and compete in their final two seasons as Panther Athletes and will be cheering them on from afar in their collegiate careers.”

Princeton Day School is proud of these two outstanding lacrosse players and looks forward to cheering them on as they enjoy future success in academia and athletics! Below are some statistics on Elle Anhut’s and Ali Surace’s lacrosse careers at PDS:
