At PDS, one of our greatest strengths is you, our parents. Your stories of how your student is thriving, your experiences within our community, and your perspective as families carry a unique authenticity that no brochure or tour can match. Prospective and current families expect to hear from our Admission and Advancement teams but it’s your voices that resonate most deeply.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce our expanded Parent Ambassador Program, which brings together Admission and Advancement in one unified effort. Parent Ambassadors play a vital role in welcoming new families, sharing authentic stories, strengthening community ties, and supporting initiatives that sustain and grow our school.
Whether you join by guiding prospective parents, connecting with fellow families, writing notes of welcome, building support for The PDS Fund, or attending key events, you help tell the PDS story and secure its future.
As Parent Ambassadors, you are both storytellers and advocates, helping us build a vibrant, diverse, and thriving community where every family feels at home.

Sign up to be a Parent Tour Guide
Our Parent Tour Guide program has been such a success in the Lower School that we’re thrilled to expand it to include the Middle School! We invite current or former Lower School parents—and now Middle School parents—to help showcase the wonderful experiences our school offers.
As a Parent Tour Guide, you’ll play a vital role in welcoming prospective families and sharing insights about our school’s values, programs, and community. If you were trained as a Lower School tour guide last year, you don’t need to retrain. For Middle School tours, training is required, and you must have or have had a student in the Middle School.
We are offering two training sessions for all new tour guides, both Lower School and Middle School, on October 1 at 8:15 AM and October 8 at 2:15 PM. Please email Teddy Brown at tbrown@pds.org to let us know which session you will attend. If you are unable to attend either session, email Teddy with a time you would like to join another offered tour of the division in which you wish to be trained.
