Friday, September 25, will pair one of PDS’s longstanding traditions with something new as we celebrate our first Fall Fest and a full day of school spirit and community on the Great Road!
The morning will begin with Convocation at 9:15 a.m. on Colross Lawn. Students should come ready for an active day in casual clothing and sneakers. They will also receive a Fall Fest T-shirt that morning to wear for the festivities.
In the afternoon, all divisions will take turns visiting Fall Fest at the Athletic Center and fields, where they’ll find bouncy houses, crafts, music, face painting, a photo booth, and more. The activities will continue throughout the afternoon and evening.
Varsity action gets underway at 3 p.m., and all PDS families are invited to cheer on our athletes and enjoy everything Fall Fest has to offer:
- 3 p.m. Boys Varsity Soccer, with the Lower School Fun Run at halftime (Baker Field)
- 4 p.m. Girls Varsity Volleyball (Athletic Center)
- 5 p.m. Girls Varsity Soccer (Baker Field)
At 3:15 p.m., the BBQ grills will be going, Rita’s will be on hand with frozen treats, and a beer garden at Behr House will be open for guests 21 and older. Fall Fest will conclude at 7 p.m.
Be sustainable at the Fall Fest!
- Bring your own waterbottle 💚
- Donate gently used, clean PDS swag for our Swag Station AND your outgrown Halloween costumes for our Halloween Costume Swap Shop in mid October. 🎃 Donate both at the Parent Sustainability and Garden Group table.
The event is free for all PDS families, and we hope to see you there! Additional details, including parking information, will be shared closer to September 25.
Help Make Fall Fest Happen!
We need volunteers from across the PDS community to help make Fall Fest happen! There are plenty of ways to get involved, both before the event and on September 25. Add your name to the volunteer list, and we’ll be in touch soon.
