Message of Gratitude

As we reflect on our first year at Princeton Day School, we are filled with gratitude and excitement. This past year has been a journey of discovery, learning and connection. Meeting so many of you and gaining a deeper understanding of what makes PDS special has been a true privilege.

We have been consistently impressed by the strength and warmth of our community. The devotion and care for our students, the passion for teaching and mentoring and the nurturing of purpose and authentic, lifelong relationships are evident in every corner of our campus. PDS is truly everything it was said to be and more.

One of the most striking aspects we've witnessed is how members of the PDS community show up for one another. This support is visible in our classrooms, hallways and fields, and it extends to the remarkable generosity demonstrated in support of our students and mission. Your dedication is inspiring: hundreds of volunteer hours, thousands of gifts to support our people and programs and the achievement of our annual fund goal. This financial cornerstone, which will now be known as The PDS Fund, is vital, ensuring we can provide the resources necessary for our students to thrive and for our school to remain at the forefront of innovation and leadership among PK-12 schools nationwide.

We are thrilled to report that overall participation and the number of gifts increased this year. We received powerful gifts in support of our faculty, financial aid program, physical plant and endowment. Our Day of Giving was a resounding success, with a record-breaking 985 gifts received. These milestones speak volumes about the strength and commitment of our community.

As we embark on our strategic planning process and celebrate the alumni and stories of our founding schools' 100th and 125th anniversaries, we are eager to engage with you further. From our alumni events to school-wide celebrations, we've seen firsthand the power of the lifelong connections forged at PDS — a network of support that extends far beyond graduation.

While we've learned a lot this year, we know there is still much more to discover and many more of you to meet. This only adds to our excitement for the year ahead. We look forward to every opportunity to connect with you, to express our gratitude and to continue our partnerships on behalf of this great school. Together, we will honor our founders' vision while forging a path that will make everyone in our community proud.

Thank you for your unwavering support and for welcoming us so warmly into the PDS family.

With sincere appreciation,

Both of our children have been fortunate to attend Princeton Day School since Kindergarten and Pre-K. Over the past 11 years, we've experienced the extraordinary dedication of the PDS faculty and staff. They consistently go above and beyond, helping our children grow, learn, and overcome challenges. This unwavering commitment is what initially drew us to PDS, and over time, its value has only deepened for our family. By donating to PDS, we see it as more than just giving back—it’s an investment in our children’s education and the future of the entire student community. Supporting the school ensures that this culture of excellence will continue for generations.

I prioritize giving to Princeton Day School because I believe in the school's commitment to providing an exceptional education that prepares students for college and beyond. Having seen firsthand the impact it had on my sons, I’m dedicated to ensuring that future generations have access to the same opportunities. As a member of the Board of Trustees and chair of the Investment Committee, I see it as my responsibility to help secure the school’s financial future.

At PDS, faculty members are not only exceptional educators but also dedicated mentors who understand and respond to the needs of our students. The strong and inclusive community at PDS sets it apart, fostering an environment where our children can thrive. We believe in the power of open-mindedness, outstanding teaching and mentorship to not only enhance our children's education but also shape their perspectives on life. This is why we wholeheartedly support PDS.

Partners in Philanthropy

THANK YOU! Our parents, alumni, employees and friends who support the school reflect a shared commitment to providing exceptional educational opportunities for our students. The giving categories celebrate all gifts received by Princeton Day School from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024.

Endowed Funds

Impacting each member of our community, gifts to endowment provide a permanent source of income for priorities that are essential to the school and meaningful to the donor. Endowed gifts enable Princeton Day School to provide access for deserving students while also making long-term investments in our faculty, programs and facilities. Thank you to the many donors who have made endowment giving a priority.
