Make your own gift early so that your classmates and friends will see a donor they recognize as the campaign kicks off! It’s easy to make a gift with your credit card, debit card, bank account, Apple Pay, Paypal or Venmo.

Create a GiveCampus account here and see how many clicks, gifts and dollars your sharing is generating. Your outreach can earn you PDS prizes!

Copy, paste and send the sample email or text message found below. We know that peer-to-peer outreach is the most successful way to encourage fellow parents and classmates to make a gift.  Alumni can use this guide to email your class through our Alumni Directory on Wavelegnth.

Remember – Any outreach helps! Text or call your PDS Alumni siblings or children and encourage them to participate!

Post the campaign link and share your PDS love on social media with the hashtag #pdsdayofgiving. Share a PDS photo, memory or why you give back. Alumni, consider grabbing a screenshot on your phone or computer of photos from our digitized yearbooks here to share.  You can also use any of the sample social media posts and images below. Tag your PDS connections for even more reach online.

Be sure to follow the PDS social media channels at the bottom of the page and like, comment on, and share posts PDS posts to help more people see posts.

We can only celebrate your hard work if we're able to tell it's you! And we do that by tracking outreach done when you're logged into GiveCampus.

1. Visit the 2024 Day of Giving Page and click the “Advocates” tab or visit here.
2. Click Log In or Sign Up at the top of the page or on the “Advocates” tab. Choose “Princeton Day School” in the Primary/Secondary dropdown. 
3. From there, you can help spread the word online with your own personal URL links that will track how many clicks and gifts you help generate. The built-in sharing buttons at the top of the page generate a link that is unique to you. If you share while you're logged in, we can track it and celebrate your impact! Special prizes will be given to all-star advocates!

Sign in with Facebook or create a GiveCampus account to track your impact. Be sure to choose "Princeton Day School" in the primary/secondary school dropdown.

Use the built in sharing links to spread the word. The campaign can be shared directly to your social media through these buttons or choose "Copy to Share" to copy and paste your links into texts or emails.  When you are logged into GiveCampus, these links will track your impact!
 

Lead by example and make a gift (and make it early!). Inspire your friends and classmates and increase the impact of your gift by creating a Match or Challenge. Matches/Challenges of all sizes make a difference and encourage your network to join you in giving back to PDS.

What is the difference between Matches and Challenges?

• Challenges are single goal based (e.g. a donor offers a challenge of $x if 25 people make a gift). Click here to learn more. 
• Matches are earned incrementally (e.g. a donor will match $x per gift up to a maximum of $y). Click here to learn more. 

Both matches and challenges can be for a specific group (e.g., the class of ’80, all parents, reunion year alumni).  Donors are able to make matches and challenges contingent upon results, or they can agree to make the entire gift even if the goal has not been met. Simply click the checkmark indicating you would like to do so (pictured below).

Once you create a GiveCampus account, visit your Advocacy Dashboard in the Advocates tab to easily share the campaign. You can share directly to Facebook  nd Twitter by clicking the corresponding buttons or click the "Copy to Clipboard" button to copy the link to paste into emails, texts, or posts to other social media channels. 

When you are signed into GiveCampus, these buttons share your unique links that will calculate your impact. See your impact in the Advocacy Dashboard and on the Campaign Page.
