The PDS Fund

The PDS Fund at Princeton Day School provides unrestricted, current-use funds critical to all aspects of the school. PDS Fund dollars can fund everything from diversity programs to faculty professional development and from financial aid to facility improvements. Allowing PDS to be responsive to immediate needs without diminishing the endowment and while also having the resources to attract and retain our exceptional teachers places our school in a strong position in both the immediate moment and the long-term. Thank you for helping to lead the way in ensuring the PDS can continue to provide an exceptional education for the students of today and tomorrow.

PDS Fund Volunteers

Princeton Day School is fortunate to have an abundance of volunteers who work with our community each year to enhance our PDS Fund. To get involved, contact Director of Annual Giving Meghana Golden at mgolden@pds.org.

Leadership Gift Committee

Members of the PDS Fund Leadership Gift Committee assist in the solicitation and cultivation of gifts of at or above the $10,000 level. They participate in the identification and cultivation of leadership gift prospects, in the development of solicitation strategies and in soliciting families as appropriate. Committee membership includes parents, parents of alumni and alumni.

Parent Volunteers

Our comprehensive parent PDS Fund effort is led by a parent chair who is supported by one or more captains at each grade level. Additional parent volunteers are critical to our success at each grade level. This cadre of volunteers helps support our printed appeal effort with personal notes or emails, participates in several phonathon/textathon events throughout the year and conducts vital outreach in support of our day of giving each May.

Alumni Development Committee

As part of the Alumni Council, the Development Committee advocates for alumni giving to Princeton Day School and helps create a culture of philanthropy in the PDS community. The Development Committee is made up of co-chairs and class agents who promote alumni participation and leadership giving to the PDS Fund. Day of Giving volunteers are sub-committee and will be invited to join the April meeting.
