Cheers to the Class of 2024!

Princeton Day School's 58th Commencement Exercises will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 7, on the lawn of Colross. The ceremony will run for approximately 90 minutes and be followed by an informal reception with light refreshments. There is no limit to the number of attendees per graduate.

Seniors should arrive at the school's Main Entrance no later than 8:30 a.m. for flower distribution, the class picture and the final lineup for the processional. Families should plan to arrive with ample time to park and find seating, generally no later than 9:30 a.m.

Graduates should wear attire that falls into one of these categories:

• All-white ensembles including dresses, pantsuits, skirts and tops;
• All-white bottoms paired with a white or light blue shirt, a navy blue jacket and a tie;
• Attire considered appropriate in one's culture that adheres to the white and navy blue guidelines;
• Dress shoes (no sneakers);
• The school will provide a boutonniere or bouquet for each graduate.

There will be plenty of seating for families and guests. We do ask, however, that you do not reserve seats before 8 a.m. and only reserve four seats per row. 

Seniors will be seated in alphabetical order. When facing Colross, A - Ma will be on the left-hand side; Mas - Z will be on the right-hand side.

Please be advised that we make every effort to conduct Commencement exercises outdoors. Guests should be prepared to dress for conditions ranging from cold drizzle to intense heat and humidity. If severe weather forces the ceremony to be held indoors, the event will take place in the Athletic Center.

ADA-compliant outdoor portable restrooms will be available in the Colross Parking Lot throughout the morning. 

Princeton Day School medical staff and security officers will be on-hand to assist guests at all times.

A photographer hired by Princeton Day School will take general event pictures and candids, all of which will be shared on the school's Flickr page and available for download. In addition, individual portraits of each graduate will also be captured by an independent photographer and available for purchase. The photographer will be in contact with you following the event.

Please note that no pets are allowed other than service animals are permitted on campus during Commencement.
