For the 2021-2022 school year, standardized testing is optional for all applicants. If your child has taken, or plans to take, the SSAT or ISEE you may submit their scores but it is not required. We will accept scores from this current school year or from 2019-2020. All applicants will be reviewed holistically, and students who do not submit scores will not be disadvantaged in the admission process.
The MAP Test is a standardized test that is administered by many schools. If your child's school uses MAP Testing, please submit those scores. If your child's school does not administer MAP testing, please submit other school-administered standardized test scores if available, such as ERB or state-required tests. Scores may be submitted through your child's checklist in your PDS Admission Portal.
Applicants to 11th and 12th grade may submit the results of the SSAT, PSAT, SAT, or ACT.
When you log into your child's checklist in the PDS Admission Portal, you will see a checklist of all application components needed for your grade.
For applicants to Grades 9-12, the Math and English Recommendations may be submitted by teachers from the current school year or the previous school year. The Principal/Counselor Recommendation must be from the current school year. In addition, there are spaces for optional recommendations should a family wish to provide more information.
All materials are due by January 15.
