CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The NextGen Student Climate Summit on May 11, 2019 from 10:30-4:30 P.M. at The Watershed Institute is created by high school students for high school students to share and learn about climate change and sustainability.

We invite any high school student or team of students to send in a proposal for EITHER a 5 minute PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION, or to have a DISPLAY TABLE AT THE FAIR on any of the following categories:

  • sustainability actions in your school

  • sustainability actions and activism in your community

  • impacts of climate change

Keynote speaker: Lisa Pellegrino, Terracycle

Conference events will include:

  • Playing the simulation game: World Climate
  • Outdoor experiential ecology activities on The Watershed's 900 acres
  • Student speakers and discussion leaders
  • Non-profit fair
  • Pre-Conference tour of the Watershed's LEED platinum education center
  • Free food!

All High School Students and older are welcome to attend!
Free round-trip transportation provided from Trenton, NJ
