Congratulations to three of our Princeton Day School Panther alums from the class of 2013 who area making headlines as leading student-athletes in their respective sports: Hannah Levy, Cody Triolo, and Davon Reed.
Hannah Levy '13, a senior lacrosse player at MIT, recently became the fourth player in the program's history to surpass 200 career points, as she generated four goals and six assists for the Engineers in a recent upset over Keene State. For the whole article on the MIT website, click here.
Cody Triolo '13, a senior lacrosse player at Lehigh, received accolades in a recent article on the school's website touting his enviable work ethic and strong commitment to both his academics as well as his Division I lacrosse team. Cody credits his time at PDS as forming a strong foundation to commit to both academics and athletics in the article. Head Coach Kevin Cassese noted, "He currently owns an impressive 3.97 GPA as a Civil Engineering and Finance major, despite all that's asked of him as a Lehigh student-athlete." Davon Reed '13, senior basketball star at the University of Miami, is the recipient of the Atlantic Coast Conference's 2017 Skip Prosser Award, presented annually to the top scholar-athlete in ACC men's basketball. A three-time All-ACC Academic selection, Davon is also one of four of the league's top 20 scorers to be named to the 2017 All-ACC Academic Team. He will graduate in May with a degree in sports administration and double minors in communications and marketing. His coach Jim Larrañaga said, "Davon Reed is the epitome of what a great student-athlete is all about." Here is the full article on the University of Miami website.
