PDS Boys Lacrosse - Mercer County Champs!

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team for their 9-5 victory over Princeton High School to clinch the coveted Mercer County Tournament Championship for the second year in a row. The contest played out last night at West Windsor Plainsboro North High School to a large crowd of fans. Scoring in the game were Elon Tuckman '18 (3), Will Brossman '17 (2), Peter Shannon '17 (2), Justin Herrup '18, and Coby Auslander '19. This is an well deserved accomplishment for a team that graduated some key players last year, but with hard work and determination achieved the highest level of success.

Coach Rich D'Andrea remarked, "The boys really put together an unrelenting effort during this year's MCT. The defense anchored the team, and our offense scored an average of thirteen goals per game. Nick Day was a force taking faceoff draws and Connor Green was a wall in goal. I'm thankful to be a part of what these boys have built--they're a special group."

The Panthers move on to play for the NJISAA Prep Title in the semifinal game Monday v. Newark Academy. Go Panthers!
