Why Give to PDS?

“Princeton Day School teaches our children to be independent thinkers, self advocates, community minded, inquisitive, and brave as they take risks to stretch and grow; whether it be in the classroom, studio, stage or field. I believe, like all of us who serve, that the work we do is meaningful and supports this very special school and its mission. We know that while we are leading the school today, we are always thinking ahead to a vital future for this school and for generations of PDS students to come.”

"After four remarkable years as a both parent and teacher in the PDS community, I am still in awe of this magical place! PDS is a place where WE continually grow. As a faculty member, the Annual Fund provides the opportunity to both deepen and broaden my understanding of what it means to educate the whole child and what it truly means to work with families. It is every teacher’s dream to be a part of a community that genuinely supports, empowers, and guides each member toward their professional goals. As a parent, giving to the Annual Fund is an opportunity to show appreciation to the ENTIRE community for fulfilling my daughter’s physical, social, and intellectual pursuits. I am proud to support Princeton Day School, a place where everyone thrives!"

“The Princeton Day School experience is all encompassing. During my time at PDS I had the opportunity to travel abroad, try numerous sports and pursue my passion for photography. Following the summer after my sophomore year, I was able to travel through eastern Europe with a school trip. This experience allowed me to visit the area of the world in which I was born and learn about culture and history outside of what is taught in a textbook. Though I had never participated in athletics prior to coming to PDS, I was encouraged to try new sports and by my senior year I was a double varsity athlete. Perhaps most significantly, my teachers and peers have supported my development as a photographer and my desire to pursue this art professionally. None of this would have been possible for me if it weren’t for the financial aid PDS gave me. Now it is my chance to give back to my school and I am proud to help provide opportunities of a lifetime for many students to come.”
